powerbank 20000mAh for Nintendo Switch, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Smart Phones £17.24
This iMuto 20000mAh Power Bank is by virtue of its capacity a Titan but
it is still quite compact considering its capacity - it measures 5.4" x
3.1" x 1.2" inches and weighs in at just under a pound making it
portable rather than pocketable. The unit comes presentably boxed and
apart from the power unit you get a USB to Micro USB charging lead,
drawstring carry bag and instructions cleverly printed on the inside of
the sleeve. Support details plus an 18 month are included.
It may help by putting the capacity of this power bank into context - it should charge an IPhone 6 around 8 times; an iPad around 1.7 times and a galaxy S6 around 5-6 times from flat. Given the capacity on tap its slight bulkier form is excusable and overall it looks and feels extremely well made sporting two USB outputs capable of delivering up to 1 Amp and 2.1 Amps simultaneously. The power bank detects the optimum charging rate and charges your device as quickly as possible. In addition, there's a digital power display indicating the % power remaining and an LED torch which is bright enough to be genuinely useful although the unit is not the natural shape for a torch. Safety is also taken seriously - the unit has dual protection circuitry against short circuits and overcharging etc. plus sports CE, RoHs and FCC compliance markings. The unit takes around 5-6 hours to charge from flat via its micro USB socket - I'd say to charge this unit from a mains USB charger is a must..
I tested this power bank with an iPhone 6, iPad 2 and Moto G Android smartphone - all three devices charged at least as quickly as they do with their native chargers. Of course, you could also attach the power bank to a device with an ailing battery and use it that way too. I would say if you were going into the wilderness where you'd be away from electric power for several days then this would be a good device to take with you and should justify the extra weight.
In summary, if you really do need an ultra-high capacity power bank then this iMuto Model is well worth considering - it's portable rather than pocketable but then you do get 3-4 times the capacity of many popular sized power banks with a less than proportionate increase in size. This model is capacious, well made and presented. Recommended.
